Pros and cons of task

Brief 1:

Promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, choosing one of the 3 options:

-          A website homepage for the brand

-          A cover for its release as part of a digipak (CD/DVD Package)

-          A magazine advertisement for the digipak (CD/DVD Package)

Pros:

-          Don’t have to worry about the music if it’s not copyright

-          Lyrics can give ideas for shots or a narrative

-          Don’t have to have a narrative

-          It’s enjoyable to watch music videos and listen

-          London gives many locations

-          We have freedom to make and shape and artist into whatever we want

Cons:

-          Can be hard to edit and lip sync if it’s included in the video

-          Must have good actors

-          Narrative can be limited
